Ermelinda Franciose passed away peacefully at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center on Saturday Morning at the age of 100. The daughter of the late Giuseppe and Raffaela (Franciose) DiPietro, she was born and raised in Pettorano, Abruzzo, Italy. A Medford resident for several years, she was devoted to her family.


The wife of the late Domenic, she was a devoted mother to Angelo Franciose of Ohio and Anna Guglielmi of Medford. A loving grandmother to John Guglielmi and his wife Jackie and Linda Vigorito she was the great-grandmother of Nicholas, Jaclyn, Micaela, Alessia, and Gianni. She was the dear sister of the late Aldesina Volpe and Domenic DiPietro.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday, July 29th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Community Mausoleum, Everett.
