George S. Pope, III, 59, of Yulee, FL passed away July 10, 2015.
He was born September 15, 1955 in Fort Leavenworth, KS and has been a resident of the Jacksonville, FL and Yulee areas for 40 years. He graduated from Plantation High School in Ft. Lauderdale and from Radiology Tech school at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Pope enjoyed boating and fishing and loved racing and working on old cars.
He was predeceased by a nephew, Andrew C. Pope, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela Vanyo (Dave) of Baltimore, MD and Kellyn Polk (Ronnie) of Yulee, FL; a brother, Andrew C. Pope (Vicki) of Tampa, FL; a nephew, Jason Pope (Kirsti), also of Tampa, and a great niece, Sadie Pope.
There will be a private family service.
