Sutton-Stephen C. Holm, 63, passed away on Monday, July 20th at UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus after an illness. He leaves his sister, Susan E. Tierney of Swanzey, NH; his nephew Thomas Damstrom and his family of Oxford, MA; his brother-in-law David Christie of Newport, NH; his niece Andrea Christie Gendron and her family of Dedham, MA; and his nephew Mathew Christie and his wife of Newport, NH. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon Holm Christie. He also leaves his honorary brother, Donald Bergstrom and his wife Anita of Worcester and their daughter, Valerie and son, Christopher and his family.
Stephen was born in Worcester the son of Gustaf Philip and Helen M. (Granquist) Holm. He loved fishing, gardening, trips to Foxwoods and was an accomplished carpenter.
A graveside service for Stephen will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 11:00 am in All Faiths cemetery, 7 Island Rd. Arrangements are in the care of Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Animal rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606 or to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
