Obituary

Gilford------Ronald "Ronnie" Vaconcellos 80, died Monday, July 20, 2015 peacefully at his home after a battle with cancer with his loving wife by his side.
Ronnie was born December 26, 1934 in Fall River, Massachusetts the son of the late Manuel and Virginia (Perry) Vasconcellos. He worked for Shaw's for over 30 years, many of those working as the produce manager for several different stores in Massachusetts. He was born and raised in Massachusetts and later moved to Gilford in 1992 after vacationing for many years and falling in love with the Lakes Region.
Ronnie enjoyed New England sports teams, was an avid NASCAR enthusiast whose favorite drivers included the Earnhardt's. He loved Chevy trucks and his 72' El Camino. He will be remember most for the joy he had from spending time with his loving family and his furry companion Shadow.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda L. (Camacho) Vasconcellos, a son, Ronald R. Vasconcellos of NC; a step son, Edouard Bourassa Jr. Of MA ; three daughters, Lisa Hall of TX, Patricia Amaral and Theresa Medeiros both of MA; a step daughter, Diana Bourassa of RI; seven grandchildren, David, Jocelyn, Nichole, Ryan, Devin, Logan and Alexander; three step grandchildren, Zachary, Blake and Brittnie; four great grandchildren along with two step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother Manuel Vasconcellos Jr.
Calling Hours will be Friday, July 24, 2015 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House Entrance.
Burial will follow at 2:30pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
