Lillian (Campo) Maiocca, of Medford, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Sunday night. She was 89. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Scalfani) Campo. A Medford resident for 68 years, Lillian worked throughout her life as a cashier at local stores. She finally retired at the age of 86 from Walgreen in Somerville. She was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


The beloved wife of the late Domenic J. Maiocca, she was a devoted mother of Claudria Perez and her husband John of Medford and the late Annmarie Maiocca. She was a loving grandmother to Marissa Perez of Medford, Marc Perez and his wife Nicola of Medford and the loving great-grandmother of Olivia and Pippa.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Wednesday 4 – 8 PM.
