Obituary

NATICK: Priscilla Ann Robinson, age 85, a longtime Natick resident, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2015. Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Vera Robinson, she was raised and educated in New Hampshire.

Priscilla came to Natick to live with the George Yeo family as a companion to their hearing impaired daughter, Betty. After Betty’s parents passed away, Priscilla found an apartment in Natick where she lived with Betty until Betty’s death in 1970. She then moved in with her longtime friend, Margaret Belmore, from that day becoming a sister to Margaret’s children and an aunt to theirs.

Employed for many years with Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham, Priscilla was also very active with the Emblem Club #9 in Natick. A gifted photographer, she was able to share her talent by documenting, photographically and in commentary, the various proceedings and social functions of the club during her tenure. Priscilla was also honored to serve a term as the State Marshal for the Massachusetts State Association of Emblem Clubs.

She is survived by her devoted family, brothers Jim Porter of Raynham and Richard MacRobbie of Auburn, CT; sisters Lucille Belmore and Teresa Allen, and sister-in-law Marie Belmore, all of Natick; and many loving nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by brothers Oscar Belmore and James Belmore.

Her funeral will from the John Everett & Sons, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Saturday, July 25th at 9:00AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00AM. Burial in Saint Patrick Cemetery will be at a later date.

VISITING HOURS WILL BE ON FRIDAY, 4 - 8PM.

Donations may be made in Priscilla’s memory to the Framingham Emblem Club Scholarship Fund, PO Box 691, Framingham, MA 01701-0691.
