Stephanie H. (Kotlarczyk) Sowinski, age 86, died after a long illness at Mass General Hospital July 20. Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Andrew and Honora (Spinder) Kotlarczyk and wife of John “Jack” Sowinski, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
She was raised and educated in Lowell a graduate of Holy Trinity Grammar School and Lowell High School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Edward J. Sowinski of Salem, her daughter, Cathleen J. Santosuosso and her husband James of Rowley, two grandchildren, Anthony and Stephen Santosuosso, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank Kotlarczyk, Mary Stasiowski, Sister Mary Hyacinth and Sister Mary Sylvine, both late of the Felician Order.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday from 3-7 p.m.
