Obituary

Robbins, James Bradford, July 19, 2015. Born July 25, 1932 to Frank & Hazel Robbins in Weymouth, MA. Beloved husband of the late Mae (Toy). Loving father of Sandi Hahn of Phoenix,Az., Michael and his wife Lucy of Sandwich, Robin Feinberg and her husband Gary of Walpole, Paul of Sharon and Gene of Sharon. Cousin of Dick Vergobbi of Quincy. Cherished Papa of 11 and Great Papa of 5. Loving brother of the late Frank Jr., and Lorraine Taylor. He was affectionately known as Brad (Jimmy to a few).

After attending Weymouth school, Brad enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served for four years, before being honorably discharged. It was then, when he met and married the love of his life, Mae, with whom he was married to for almost sixty years. Brad made a career as a butcher, and he was proud to be known as one of the best Kosher butchers in the business.

A viewing and remembrance service will be held on Wednesday July 22, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

A graveside service will be held at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton at 1:30 PM. Rabbi Menachem M. Gurkow will be officiating.

Mr. Robbins was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Collation will be held after the service at Olde Colonial Café, 171 Nahatan St. Norwood, MA 02062. 781-762-2058.
