Richard Mello, age 50, of Fall River and formerly of Little Compton, RI, passed away on July 18, 2015. He was the husband of Judy (Reese) Mello and the son of the late George Mello and Phyllis (Simmons) Mello. Richard had worked as a Carpenter and a Commercial Fisherman in Sakonnet Point and Westport Harbor.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings: George Mello, Robert Mello, Rosemary Couto, and Nancy Hagenston all of Fall River. He was also the brother of the late Donald Mello.
Following cremation, a wake will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River, MA on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. with a service at 7:00 P.M.
