LACONIA – Lionel J. Moussette, 72, of 10 Overland Street, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Laconia on January 27, 1943, the son of the late Henry and Katie (Little) Moussette. Lionel worked for twenty five years as an Engineer for General Electric. He also worked as a TV Repairman for a period of time. Lionel loved hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed working with electronics and speakers. He also enjoyed auto body repair and helping with science projects. He was known as a man who put his all in everything he did.
He is survived by two sons, Henry L. Moussette and James L. Moussette and his wife Tammy, both of Laconia; two daughters, Kathy M. Smith and her husband Scot of Sanbornton and Joanne Forrest and her husband Pat of Laconia; nine grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Cassandra Rhoads, Shawn Moussette, Zack Moussette, Robert Smith, Jr., Joie-Lynne Corson, Charlie Moussette, Jordan Moussette and Ashley Baez;, six great grandchildren; McKayla Rhoads, Liam Patrick Rhoads, Sophia Moussette, Emma Rae Moussette, Ava Moussette, and Gracey May Bixby, two brothers; Peter Moussette of Laconia and John Moussette and his wife Barbara of Andover, ten nieces and fourteen nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne Moussette in 2009 and a son, Michael Moussette in 2003, one brother, Oliver Moussette and one sister-in-law, Deb Moussette.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 4PM to 7PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, July July 23 at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church St., Laconia Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia, N. H.
