Obituary

Margaret A. “Peggy” (Lindsey) Anderson of Framingham, formerly of Newton and Tamworth, NH, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Metrowest Medical Center of Framingham surrounded by her loving family.

She was eighty-one years old and the wife of the late Richard C. Anderson.

Born in Boston on April 16, 1934, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Stack) Lindsey. Raised in Jamaica Plain, she graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and then lived Wellesley from the age of eighteen.

Peggy worked as a laboratory technician with Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston for many years, a clerk with J C Penny in New Hampshire, Kramer Electronics and Hebert Candy Store.

She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, jewelry, camping, dancing, shopping, singing and making dolls.

Margaret was a resident of Newton for fifteen years, lived in Tamworth, New Hampshire for nineteen years where she was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and spent the last five years in Framingham.

Mrs. Anderson was a loving mother of Robert C. Anderson and his wife RoseAnn of Randolph, Debra A. Lampasona and her fiancé Richard Butler of Ashland, James V. Anderson, also of Ashland and Donna E. Dewar and her husband Bryan of Framingham.

A Cherished grandmother of John Anderson and his girlfriend Yuki Kanai of Lexington, James Anderson and his wife Susie of Framingham, Stephanie Lampasona of Ashland, Kristina Eidelman and her husband Matthew of Westborough, Daniel Lampasona of Ashland and Chelsea Campbell and her fiancé Gregory Powers of Milford.

Doting great grandmother of Morgan and Heidi Anderson of Framingham and Dominic and Logan Eidelman of Westborough.

Caring sister of Frances Archibald and her companion Bob Weir of Florida, Jean Benoit and her husband George also of Florida, Diane Luther and her husband Anthony of Connecticut, Robert Lindsey of Maine, Albert Lindsey and his wife Barbara, also of Maine, Gerard Lindsey and his wife Paula of Hudson, Steven Lindsey and his wife Betsy of Framingham and the late Frank “Skip” Lindsey and his wife Sue of Natick.

Peggy’s Funeral Service will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Wednesday, July 22nd at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley will follow.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 21st from 4:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
