Obituary

Worcester : Edith L. (Argentati) Beauregard, Oberg, 93, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in UMASS Medical Center University Campus. She was predeceased by two husbands, Rene Beauregard and Richard I. Oberg. She leaves two daughters- Debra A. Bilzerian and her husband Thomas Morin, and Diane M. Vrooman and her husband John; 7 grandchildren- Kara Bilzerian and her husband Sean, Laura Pasley, Jason Bilzerian, Lindsay Vilma and her husband Diderot, Andrew Vrooman, Kyle Vrooman and his wife Julianna, and Wesley Vrooman and his wife Rainy, 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 14 siblings.

Edith was born in Oakdale, daughter of the late Attulio and Assunta Argentati. She was a member of Burncoat Baptist Church for over 60 years and actively involved in the women's group. She was supportive of the mission in Haiti where her daughter Diane and John have lived for the past 32 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo, dining out and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's memory to her daughter Diane's mission work in Haiti: Diane & John Vrooman, Agape Flights - Cay1680, 100 Airport Drive, Venice, FL 34285 or to the Cerebral Palsy International Research Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle 15th Floor, New York, NY 10019.
