Catherine A. (Kelliher) Donnelly, age 89, of Randolph, died July 13, 2015 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Dr. James Donnelly. Born and raised in Brockton, Catherine was the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine (Sullivan) Kelliher. She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1943 and Bentley College, Class of 1948. Catherine was dedicated to her career and had been Assistant Comptroller of the Museum of Science, Office Manager of Budges Frozen Foods, Owner of Randolph Medical Center and Treasurer of N. Main Street Veterinary Clinic and R J Kelliher Trucking.
Catherine is survived by her brothers Richard Kelliher and his wife Janice of Bridgewater, and John Kelliher and his wife Marion of Brockton; nephews, Dr. Timothy Kelliher, Sean, Kevin, Jerome, Thomas and Daniel Kelliher, Brian and Terrance Haddad; nieces Noreen Kelliher, Jill Sliney and Kathy Kelliher and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister in law of Dr. Melvin Haddad, devoted friend of Teresa Freeman, and sister of the late Raymond Kelliher and Maryrose Haddad, and sister in law of the late Dorothy Kelliher.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 5-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Saturday at 9am for a Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, Avon at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
