Ann F. McKenna of North Stonington, Connecticut beloved wife and mother, passed away on July, 13, 2015.
Ann is survived by her husband, Terrence G. McKenna; her son, Terrence G. McKenna II; her daughter, Brooke McKenna Veal; her grandson, Oliver McKenna; sisters Joan Fridge Eldred, Jane Corazzelli, Mary Gonzales; and brother, John Fridge.
Ann was born was born in Ipswich, Massachusetts on Dec. 6, 1948 to Winifred and Herbert Fridge, a Naval commander. She graduated Fitch High School in Groton in 1966 and then attended St. Ann’s Academy in Marlboro, Massachusetts for post graduate work. Ann and Terry raised their family in Stonington. She was a dedicated employee of the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch in New London for 25 years.
Ann was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. She took great pride in her home, family and cats, especially Murphy.
Ann was a kind, funny and selfless spirit, and she will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 19, from 4 to 6pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 32 East Main Street, Mystic at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20th. A gathering will be held at the Seahorse Restaurant in Noank directly after burial services at St. Patrick Cemetery.
