Mrs. Marlene Marie (Mikulla) Geis, a resident of Andover for more than 38 years, formerly of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and beloved wife of Michael Geis, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. She was 72 years old.
Born in Pittsburg on May 22, 1943, she was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Martzinak) Mikulla. Mrs. Geis was a teacher, and worked for many years as an International Sales Manager. She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburg and the University of Lowell School of Engineering. In her spare time, Marlene enjoyed sewing and quilting for her family. An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling.
Besides her beloved husband, Michael, she is survived by her loving children; Ron and his wife Kelly Geis of Exeter, New Hampshire and Susan and her husband Kevin Fahlbeck of Woburn, grandchildren; Tyler, Joseph and Stephen Geis and Kevin “KJ” Fahlbeck. She was also the sister of the late Alice Fall.
Her funeral service was privately held. Arrangements were entrusted to the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Andover.
