Zulmira Gomes (88) of Brockton died July 10th in the Brockton Hospital.
She was born in Mosterios, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of the late Antonio and Tareza Gomes. Ms. Gomes worked in a pharmaceutical company and enjoyed collecting dolls and cooking for family and friends.
Survivors include 3 sons Quintino Teixeira of Brockton with whom she made her home, Manuel and Paulino Rodrigues both of Praia, Cape Verde, a daughter Guilherna Silveira of Brockton, 18 grand and 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother Antonio Gomes, 2 sisters Maria and Ana Gomes, also mother of the late Guilherme Rodrigues and sister of the late Domingos Gomes.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday July 18th from 5-8 pm. Private Burial to follow at a later date.
