WORCESTER: Gloria T. (Brunnett) Granville 88, of Carleton St., passed away peacefully on July 13 at Parson Hill Nursing Home in Worcester.
She was the wife of Elwin Russell Granville who died in 2006. She leaves four sons Vance Granville and his longtime companion Jeanne Robertson of Charlton, Dennis Granville and his wife Linda of Leicester, Philip and Robert Granville of Worcester, four daughters Rhonda Brousseau and her husband John of Webster, Rhoda Granville and her companion Joseph Salvatore of Worcester, Rebecca Saunders and her husband Michael of Leicester and Bonnie Granville of Worcester, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by sons Paul Michael Granville in 1963, Ronald Granville in 1968 and Wayne Granville in 1975 and 13 brothers and sisters.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Felix and Ida Brunnett and later graduated from Leicester High School. She lived in the Rochdale section of Leicester most of her life where she raised her eleven children.
She worked as a weaver at the former Carelton Woolen Mills in Rochdale before retiring in 1986.
Private funeral service and burial in Gore Cemetery, Oxford will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
