Harold H. Harkins age 91 of Canton passed away at home July 12th surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Canton he graduated from Canton High School and was a lifelong resident of the town. He was an Army veteran of WW II and worked for Draper Brothers in Canton for many years before retiring. Harold was a member of the Canton Town Club and Wampatuk Golf Club. Beloved husband of E. Rita (Gorman). Father of Joan Hanson and her husband Eric of Mansfield, Harold Harkins of Hyde Park, and Donna Cleary of Canton. Brother of Charlotte Dickie of Canton, and the late Alice Plant, Fred Spintig, Beverly Vincent, Claire Whiting and Robert Spintig. Grandfather of Dan, Kyle and Kevin Cleary, Kristen and Emily Hanson. Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday morning at 11:00. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veteran’s Service Department 801 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021. | |||||
