Laconia-----Theresa M. Martel, 84, died on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
Theresa was born on February 26, 1931 in Franklin the daughter of Stephen and Angelina (Houle) Martel. She was a communicant of St Joseph Church, Laconia.
Theresa was employed by Quick Laundry & Cleaners for thirty years. Theresa enjoyed playing cards and shopping.
Theresa is survived by a sister; Lucille Corey and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by siblings Leo and Roland Martel, Gertrude Miner, Estelle Peters, Mary Flanagan, Ann Morin and Beatrice Ladd.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andre Bessette Parish-St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00am.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Holy Cross Cemetery, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association , 5 Bedford Farms Drive, STE 201, Bedford, NH 03110 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
