Melanie Ann Buttermore
Augusta, GA - Melanie Buttermore, 59, passed away July 7, 2015 at GRU surrounded by family.
She was the daughter of Raymond Johnson, Donna and Donald Easterling and Nancy Bair. She was employed at Sodexo and loved serving the students and faculty of GRU.
She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her family and when her grandsons called her “Big G”. She will be remembered for her kind heart, artistic ability, love for animals and the ability to always see the good in people.
She is survived by, her children: Monica (Phil) Sommers and Ian Theil. Her grandchildren: Connor, Riley, Landon and Taylor. Her brother Jeff (Sara) Bair and Terry (Debbie) Easterling and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Nancy Bair and Raymond Johnson.
The memorial service will be held on August 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at First Christian Fellowship 110 Montana Street Greenville, SC 29611.
