Frances M. Serra
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, July 12, 2015, Mrs. Frances M. Serra, 66, wife of Vincent Serra.
Mrs. Serra was born in Rochester, NY but lived in Philadelphia for many years. She has been in Augusta for the past 2 years. She was a Roman Catholic. Mrs. Serra was a loving wife, mother, and sister.
Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Joseph Serra; sister: Josephine Almeter and husband Tom; 3 nieces; a nephew; and 16 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Serra.
The funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Lou Lindsey celebrant. Burial will follow in the Alleluia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at 34th St and Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
