Graveside services for Elgin Elo Wied,76 of Round Top will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Florida Chapel Cemetery near Round Top under the care and direction of Fayette Memorial Funeral Home.
Elgin was born February 15, 1939 in La Grange, Texas to Esther Mueller and Elo Wied. He grew up on a dairy farm and enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching television. Elgin was a mechanic.
Elgin is survived by a son Michael Wied of Austin, Texas and his fiancé Rima Petrosian. 1 daughter, Karin Wied-Sanchez of Manchaca and 3 grandchildren, Josef Wied-Sanchez, Christian Wied-Sanchez, and Jakob Wied-Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Everett Wied.
