Barbara J. Pepin-Neff, 67, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at U.Mass/Memorial Hospital, University Campus in Worcester.
She leaves behind her children, Howard V. Neff,III, Christopher L. Neff, Pamela J. Schreibman, and Jennifer V. Bennett, many grandchildren and her longtime companion and friend, Gerard J. ‘Jerry’ Bacon.
Barbara was born in North Attleboro, MA. the daughter of the late Leo A. and Virginia H. ‘Dinky’ (Roberts) Pepin and has lived in Thompson many years.
She was predeceased by a son, David M. Neff.
Barbara worked as the Postmaster in the Fabyan section of Thompson for many years, as was her mother before her.
She was an avid pitch player and played in tournaments and at home with family and friends. Barbara also enjoyed water skiing at Quaddic and Webster Lake, going to the casinos, traveling, especially to Florida. She volunteered in the soup kitchen at the Methodist Church in North Grosvenordale and was also a volunteer for the Salvation Army for over 20 years.
Barbara’s Funeral Service will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 7PM in THE ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster,MA.
Calling Hours will be Monday from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service.
Burial will be Private at a later date.
