Adeline “Lena” (Medeiros) Rodrigues, age 87 of Fall River, passed away on July 7, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank C. Rodrigues and the daughter of the late Jose V. and Marcelina (Cabral) Medeiros. She was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church, a member of the USS Missouri Association with her late husband. She also enjoyed playing games on her computer.
She is survived by her children: Frank J. Rodrigues and daughter Teresa of Tiverton, RI, Michael A. Rodrigues (wife Margaret) of Sanford, FL, and Steven M. Rodrigues N. Dighton, MA; sisters: Mary Pimental of Middletown, RI and the late Rose Martins; grandchildren: David Rodrigues of Fall River, Kimberly Sutherland of Tiverton, RI, Tracy Adams of Sanford, FL, Jennifer Landoch of Tiverton, RI, Erin Rodrigues of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Lena is also survived by the family dog “Riley”.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Friday from 4-8 P.M.
