Robert F. DiMartino passed away on Sunday morning at home. He was 66. Loving son of the late Joseph and Rose (Ciccia) DiMartino, Bobby was a life-long resident of Medford. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War with the special forces where he was highly decorated with two Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts and the Vietnam Service Medal with Silver and Bronze Star attachments. After he was honorably discharged he then joined the Teamsters Union as a truck driver for the Wakefield Concrete Company.

The beloved husband of Rosemarie (Guarino) DiMartino, he was a devoted father to Renee DiMartino-DiFronzo and her husband Michael of Melrose, Robert DiMartino II and his wife Eileen and Dina DiMartino all of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Michael, Mathew, Marco, Antonio, Graziano and the late Daniel. He was a dear brother to Denise Dolan, Joseph and Thomas DiMartino.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Thursday, July 9th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home Wednesday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
