Passed away peacefully at home July 4th, 2015. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard. Survived by her sons Mike (Dianna Wilson) and Richard (Suzanne); daughter Teri Perron (Larry); 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Ida Chapin and Mary Sorensen; many nieces, nephews, relatives, like relatives, neighbors and cherished friends. "Lu" enjoyed raising her family, and in her later years worked as a school cook and spent many years in customer service at Maplewood Mall. She was an active member of St. Mark's Church of North St. Paul. She loved playing cards, bingo, talking on the phone with her many friends and socializing on Facebook with her iPad. She was kind, caring and funny. To know her was truly to love her. Visitation Thursday, July 9, at 10:00 AM at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 N. Helen St. (Door 7W), North St. Paul, with memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to all the caregivers that spent time sharing their healing touch. She was blessed. We would like to thank Healtheast Hospice for their wonderful care these last few months. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Open Arms of MN.
