Obituary

SALEM - Diane McKanas, 71, of Salem and Clearwater, Florida, also known as Diana, proprietor of the Salem Psychic Center, died on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Clearwater.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward Dennehy and Edna Getz Dennehy Balski and due to the passing of her father at an early age, she was raised by her mother and step-father, Anthony Balski.

Diana owned and operated the Salem Psychic Center in Salem for many years and was a well know psychic for over 40 years. A resident of Salem for much of her life, she was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by 4 children, Stephen, Mark, Michelle and Kelley, 9 Grandchildren: Amanda, Eric, Nicole Lee, Nicole Christina, Michael, Tyler, Diago, James & Emily, 5 Great Grandchildren: Kyle, Kaylee, Cameron, Jackson & Makayla, 1 brother, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bella.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
