WETHERELL, Ward E. Jr. of Needham July 3rd. Beloved husband of fifty years to Nancy L. (Madden) Wetherell.
Devoted father of Lesley M. Bradshaw and her husband Alton of Marlborough. Ward E. Wetherell III of Pepperell. Grandfather of Matthew and Owen Wetherell. Brother of Natalie Alberto of West Palm Beach, Florida and the late Alice Sweeney.
Ward was retired materials manager for Analogic Corporation of Peabody. Graduate of Boston University and served in the United States Army.
Ward was a member of the Needham Golf Club, Needham Soccer Club, and the Needham Exchange Club, where he was former Treasurer and active in the Needham Exchange Club 4th of July Celebration.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Avenue, Needham, Wednesday at 9:00AM. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours, Tuesday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
