Freddy Lee, 70, of Waycross, Georgia, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Bro. Charlie Solomon officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6 to 8, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Lee was born May 15, 1945, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Robert Edward Lee, Sr. and Reba Hughes Lee. He was a 1963 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mr. Lee served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Tea Time Gift Shop in Waycross and also was the manager of Eckerd Drugs for over 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald and a Mason.
He is survived by his daughter: Lisa Lee and her husband, Jeremy Hauser of Richmond, Virginia; a sister: Pamela & David McMahon of Richmond, Virginia; a brother: Bobby & Laverne Lee of Fitzgerald; friend: Craig Jones of Waycross and Lisa’s mother: Bernice Lee of Waycross. Mr. Lee is also survived by two nieces.
