Worcester – Rita M. (Welch) Sheridan, 84, of Worcester, died on Saturday, June 27th in the Millbury Healthcare Center after an illness.
Rita is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William F. Sheridan and many nephews and nieces. Mrs. Sheridan was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Isabel (Bruzas) Welch and is also predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Earl Welch and two sisters, Alice Murphy and Ruth Belsito.
Rita worked for many years as a technician at the Astra Pharmaceutical Company.
A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 1st at 1PM in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
