Florence (Charrette) Cadieux 81, of St. Leon Ave. passed away peacefully, June 29, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of William Roger Cadieux, with whom she celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, June 25, 2015. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Dora (Dubois) Charrette. Florence worked as a stitcher for Fashion Sportswear and Stalen Sport Systems for ten years respectively, retiring in 1995. She loved playing bingo, cards and going to the casino.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Linda Pucciarelli and her husband Anthony of Woonsocket, Diane Dowding and her husband Richard of North Smithfield, a son Robert Cadieux and his wife Keri of Woonsocket, a brother Wilfred Charrette of Woonsocket, three grandchildren, Pamela Artruc (Kyle), Brenda Doucette (Keith), Jeremy Dowding (Kimberly) and great-grandchildren, Keith Jr, Brooke, Mason, Kayden, Ella, and Brady. She was also the loving mother of the late Michael Cadieux and sister of the late Doris Charrette, Beatrice Lavimodiere, and Therese Dolbec.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 PM.
