Armando J. DiPietro of Medford died on Monday, June 29, at the Chelsea Soldier's Home. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Cesidio and Carmenia (Porreca) DiPietro. Armando proudly served in the Army during World War II, after which he was employed as a pipe fitter.

Armando was the beloved husband of Thelma (D'Ambrosio) DiPietro and the devoted father of Gilbert A. DiPietro and his wife Elaine of Reading. He was the loving grandfather of Danielle, Matthew, and Ryan DiPietro and is also survived by his brother Henry DiPietro of Acton, Maine.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, July 3 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
