Harvey B. Newman of Natick passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Wingate at Sudbury Nursing Home. He was seventy-five years old, a carpenter and had a love for the Native American Indians and their culture.
Born in Medford, he was raised in Natick and a graduate of Natick High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking and wood carving.
He lived in North Conway, New Hampshire for twenty years before returning to his hometown of Natick.
Son of the late Douglas T. and Lynthel R. (Butler) Newman and loving father of Carla R. Newman of Natick, he adored his two grandchildren Katie and Robby Beausoleil also of Natick.
Caring brother of Virginia Mayo of Natick, Douglas Newman of NC, Francis Taylor Newman of Needham, Henry Newman and his wife Sherri of AZ, Dorothy Newman of FL, Stephen Newman and his wife Helen of Framingham, Barbara Munroe and her husband Ronald also of Framingham, Carol Ogle and her husband Kenneth of Bellingham and the late Joan Whetton, George “Roland” Newman, Theodore Newman, Eleanor Mattingly and John Newman. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held in the Eliot Church of South Natick, 45 Eliot St., on Tuesday, June 30th from 10:00AM till Noon.
A Funeral Service will begin at Noon and burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
