Ellen J. McCloy of Derry, NH, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Concord Hospital. She was born on October 7, 1948 in South Boston, MA a daughter of the late John and Margret (Gauthier) McCloy. Ellen was a resident of Derry and had lived there for a number of years. She was an avid bingo player as well as an avid shopper and a lover of gardening. She is well remembered as a loving person and would do anything for anyone around her.
She is survived by two daughters; Tiana Dompiere and her husband Eric of Londonderry, NH and Tamara Schaefer of Michigan, two sons; Jay Kurowski of Sandown, NH and Kirk Kurowski of Nashua, NH, seven grandchildren; Billy, Mackenzie, Josh, Chris, Emma, Felicia and Angelyna, four brothers; Jay, David, John, and Kevin McCloy, three sisters; Donna McCloy, Debbie Klempa and Laurie David, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation memorial calling hours were held Thursday, July 2nd from 4 – 6 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with a memorial service to follow at 6 pm.
