Alphonse A. Charette 74 of Cato St. died June 22, 2015 at home. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Joseph and Doris (Houle) Charette. Mr. Charette worked as a card tender for Forte Cashmere for twenty four years before retiring.
He is survived by a brother David Charette of North Smithfield, three sisters Olive Nichols of Woonsocket, Madeline Brewster of Providence, and Judith Bissonnette of FL, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Church, North Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
