Ivan J. Richards passed away at home with his devoted family at his side. He was 54. Born and raised in Somerville, Ivan was the son of the late Alfred D. and Mary Beatrice (Curley) Richards. He served in the Army National Guard and worked as a general contractor specializing in home repairs and remodeling. Ivan loved fishing and was out there whenever he could be. He was devoted to his family and friends.


Ivan was the beloved brother of Wanda Chiaraluce and her husband Ray of Somerville, Gary Richard and his wife Nancy of Somerville, Leila Devereaux of North Reading, Colleen Ciampoli and her husband Tony of Medford, Lena Cremone and her husband Daniel of Somerville. He was a devoted and loving uncle of Michael, Francis, Steven, Anthony, April, Cindy, Amanda, Danielle, Michelle, Jennifer, Melissa and John. He also leaves his long-time companion Donna Brogna of Woburn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, June 27th from 1 thru 5 PM. Burial will be private.
