TAUNTON – Helen (Santos) Plante, wife of the late Amie Plante, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on June 16, 2015.
She was ninety-four years old.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Candida) Santos.
Educated in Taunton schools, Helen was employed as a housekeeper by Tobey Hospital in Wareham and Taunton State Hospital.
She retired many years ago.
Helen was a communicant of Taunton’s St. Anthony Church.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by nine brothers and five sisters.
A funeral mass was held at St. Anthony Church, Taunton on Friday, June 19th at 12 noon and was followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Village Plaza South, 473 South St. West, Unit 13, Raynham, MA 02767.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary’s Square in Taunton.
