WORCESTER-Lee R. Laythe, 61, passed away Monday, June 15th after a short battle of Leukemia. Lee leaves his wife of 41 years, Gloria J. (Worster) Laythe; five children, Jennifer Lopez, Lori Laythe, Shawn Laythe, William Laythe and Megan Laythe all of Worcester; four brothers, Duane Laythe and his wife Betty, Brian Laythe and his wife Kelly and Bruce Laythe all of Worcester, Wally LeFebvre and his wife Kimberly of Florida; three sisters, Cheryl Hollar and husband John of Indiana, Kimberly Lee and husband Edward of Florida and Nannette Southworth and husband Kevin of Massachusetts. Lee also leaves behind his favorite brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Violet Banfill; a daughter-in-law, Cassidy; 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Laurie Lugo and Darlene Vasquez-Ramos; stepfather, Wallace Lefebvre and his beloved dog, Tyson.
Lee was born in Worcester the son of the late Clarence and Marguerite (Howard) Laythe. Lee loved fishing and camping. Most of all spend time with family.
Funeral and burial services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the CALLAHAN-FAY-CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.
