Marjorie (Mackinnon) Maynard, age 90, passed away at Alliance Health Care in Braintree on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.
Marge was the wife of 59 years of the late Frederick H. Maynard and is adored and survived by her three children, Karen Lee and her spouse Terri Jacobson of Salem, OR. Glenn Maynard and his wife Hellen of Jamaica Plain and Robert Maynard and his wife Lori of Hingham. She is the grandmother of Jilana, Justin, Glenn Jr., Zachary, Jacquelyn and Cassandra. She also leaves 9 great grandchildren.
Marjorie was born in Boston, grew up in Wollaston, graduated from North Quincy High School in 1942 and graduated from Quincy Junior College in 1944 to become a Lab Technician. She has been a resident of Weymouth since 1954. Marge was a Lab Technician at South Shore Hospital for 20 years.
She was an avid traveler with her husband as they traveled around the world. Marge was also a member of the Broken Stove Club for over 20 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday, June 25 at 7 PM.
