Veronica Marie (Raymond) Grasso, 85, of Walpole, died June 13 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Grasso who died in 1994.
Born in Norwood, February 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Frank and Carmela (Carchedi) Raymond, Mrs. Grasso was raised in Norwood and had lived in Walpole for many years.
Mrs. Grasso had been a loan processor for BayBank for many years.
She had also worked as a hairdresser at Jordan Marsh and at King Information in Norwood.
Veronica enjoyed traveling, cooking, spending time with her family. She had a special fondest for her animals.
She is survived by her children, Helen Grasso and her husband Michael Devlin of Shirley, Paul Grasso of Middletown, Rhode Island, Ellen Grasso of Plainville and David Grasso of Norton.
She is also survived by her sister Barbara Capone of East Walpole and was the sister of the late Elizabeth Ruscio and Joseph Raymond.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
