FALL RIVER … Eduarda (Vieira) Medeiros, 70, of Fall River passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Jose M. Medeiros.
She was born in St. Michael, Azores a daughter of the late Louis and Maria (Rebello) Vieira and had lived in Fall River since 1969.
She was employed as a house keeper with the former Union Hospital. Mrs. Medeiros enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include 2 sons: Roy N. and Jose F. Medeiros both of Fall River, 3 sisters: Celia Sousa of Portugal, Armanda Costa of Fall River, Lurdes Feliciano Palm Coast, FL, 4 grandchildren: Vanessa Medeiros, Careron Medeiros, Gavin Medeiros, Jose F. Medeiros, Jr., a great grandson Cyrus Wheeler, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Gregory Medeiros, sister of the late Maria Barbosa and Sofia Gouveia, and grandmother of the late Keira J. Medeiros.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday at 8AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5 - 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
