New Bedford – Priscilla Steadman, age 76 of New Bedford, died on Thursday June 4, 2015 at Hathaway Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Harold Joseph Steadman and the daughter of the late Helen (Santos) and Oliver Fonseca.
Priscilla was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker who prided herself on caring for her loving family.
Her family includes 4 children: Kevin Steadman of Taunton, Kelly Marlowe, Kimberly Steadman, and Kendra Steadman all of New Bedford; 3 brothers: Milton Fonseca of New Bedford, Oliver Fonseca and Marshall Fonseca, both of Maine; as well as 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 niece and nephew.
Visiting hours will take place on Sunday June 7th from 2-4 pm. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Burial of her ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southcoast Hospice 200 Mill Road Fairhaven, MA 02719. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
