Nazzareno J. “Ned” DeGregorio, 85 of Methuen passed away on May 26, 2015 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Ned was born on January 25, 1930 in Lawrence to the late Pasquale and Jenny DeGregorio. He was the long time owner of Ned’s Shoe Place of Lawrence and Methuen. Ned was an avid golfer and a member of the Merrimack Valley Country Club of Methuen. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially playing 45’s with his friends at the Sargent Club and Manzi Park Gardens.
Ned was the loving husband of the late Eileen (O’Brien) DeGregorio with whom he shared many happy years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Paula DeGregorio and her husband Frank Galante and David DeGregorio. He was the beloved grandfather of Sara Degregorio and her husband Sergi Martinez. Ned is also survived by his former daughter in-law Karen DeGregorio, sisters in-law Rita O’Brien, Theresa Reyes and Maureen Provencher and his loving niece Brenda Manzi and her husband Michael.
A graveside service will be held at the St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 12:00 Noon.
