Obituary

Eugene R. (Dick) Dufault, Sr. was reunited with his beloved wife, Irene J. (Scotlis) Dufault, on January 18, 2015. Born to Joseph and Bernice (Croteau) Dufault in Springfield, MA, he is survived by his sister, Shirley Laporte and husband Ron of Clearwater, FL, his children, Eugene (Rick) Dufault, Jr. and wife Nancy of Hampden, MA, Denise Grandbois and husband Rich of Chicopee, Kimberly Rinker and husband Gary of Agawam, and Debra Lucia of Chicopee; grandchildren, Jeff Kapinos, Chris and Greg Grandbois, Ray Lucia, and Vanessa, Kyle, Breanna and Trevor Dufault, and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Kapinos and Zackary Lucia. Dick was a retired truck driver with the New England Teamsters & Trucking Industry, proprietor of Tina’s Variety and Dick’s Chick-N-Fish in Springfield, MA, in the 70’s, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid boat and fishing enthusiast with a knack for navigation and appreciated the simple things in life; family, friends and laughter. He will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. A graveside service will be held on Sat May 30, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
