West Yarmouth/Worcester- Jane F. Mysliwiec, 82, formerly of Conway St in Worcester died Wednesday, May 27th, on Cape Cod.
She was predeceased by her parents Stanislaus Mysliwiecz and Feliksa (Grzyb) Mysliwiecz, both born in Poland; and her siblings, Helen, Jan, Chester, and Stanley. She leaves her sister Carolyn Castonguay and her husband, Paul of Columbia, SC. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, including Jane Clark and her husband Ray of Southport, NC, Patricia Gibbons of Spencer, MA, Chester Mysliwicz, Jr., and his wife Susan of New Ipswich, NH, Thomas Mysliwicz and his wife Charlotte of Mansfield, MA, Laurie O'Shea and her husband Terry of Barnstable, MA, Sandra Genduso and her husband Steve of Worcester, MA. She also leaves Bridget Wozniak and her husband Robert of West Brookfield, MA and many other beloved grand nieces and nephews.
Jane was born in Worcester and graduated from St. Mary's High School, and the Worcester City Hospital school of nursing. She worked as a registered nurse throughout her life, including a number of years at Westborough State Hospital. She was a deeply religious woman who was a longstanding member of the parishes at St. Johns in Worcester and St. Pius X on Cape Cod. She donated generously to the church and to the Yarmouth Food Pantry. She also volunteered at the Yarmouth Senior Center for many years.
A Committal Service will be held Monday, June 1 at Noon in Notre Dame Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Yarmouth Food Pantry, 845 MA-28, South Yarmouth, 02664 or the Yarmouth Senior Center, 528 Forest Road, Yarmouth, 02673.
