Obituary

Mrs. Joan F. (Reardon) Sullivan, a resident of Sandown, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late James F. Sullivan, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 26, 2015. She was 93 years old.
Born in Auburn, New York, on April 28, 1922, she was the beloved daughter of the late Cornelius and Marie (Fogarty) Reardon. Joan was a WWII Army Lieutenant and had worked as a Registered Nurse while serving in the military and in civilian life as well. In her spare time, Joan enjoyed gardening around her home, traveling and being a member of the Bridge Club for more than forty years. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Ellen M. Boda of Chester, New Hampshire, Kathleen and her husband Russell G. Marotta of Londonderry, New Hampshire, James F. and his wife Helen M. Sullivan of Andover, Cornelius T. “Neil” Sullivan of Kingston, New Hampshire, Mary T. and her husband Robert Gosson of Lawrence and the late Noreen A. Sullivan, beloved cousin; Maryanne Fuszara of Buffalo, New York, grandchildren; Rachael, Aria and Emily Marotta, Robert Jr., Ryan and Nathaniel Boda, Caroline and James Heffernan, Patrick Sullivan and Joan-Marie Gosson, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Joan was also the sister of the late James and Cornelius Reardon.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Friday, May 29, 2015, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
