Sandra A. (Turner) Beard, 88, life long resident of Anderson, died May 27, 2015 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born February 17, 1927 to Roy Ray and Letisha (Wilson) Turner.
She attended the Methodist Church.
She was a devoted wife and homemaker. She liked to sew, garden, cook and paint.
Survivors include her son, William (Sharen) Beard of Middletown, IN; grandson, Lance J. Beal of Middletown; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Lowan; her sister, Geraldine Turner of Des Moines, IA; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, William J. Beard of Westport, IN; sister-in-law, Mary Tretz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cletus A. Beard died in 1995.
Services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent Hospice.
