NATICK: Virginia E. (Arminio) Pierro, age 90, a retired Sears and Roebuck Sales Associate, died on Sunday evening, May 24, 2015, at Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Nick Pierro.
Born in the Newbury village of Byfield, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (Manericho) Arminio. The family settled in Natick when Virginia was young and she was graduated from the Natick Public Schools.
Virginia and Nick married and made there home just outside the center of Natick. They were parishioners of Saint Patrick’s Church and were happy maintaining their home and gardens and spending time with family and friends. Virginia had been employed in the production area of Hodgman Rubber in Framingham prior to working for many years in sales at Sears in the Natick Mall. After Nick’s death in 1991, Virginia continued to enjoy her gardens and traveled frequently with friends.
Sister of the late Margaret Hewlett and the late John, Anthony, and Jerry Arminio, and aunt of the late Richard Arminio, she is survived her nieces and nephews, Michael, Edward and, Clair Arminio, Jerilyn Bacon, and Ann Morganti, and their families.
Her funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Saturday, May 30th at 9:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery.
