Eduino “Eddie” Silva, 59, of Methuen passed away on Sunday May 24th. Eddie was born in Azores, Portugal son of the late Ana (Barcelos) and Eduino Silva. In his free time he enjoyed wrestling, fishing, and was extremely avid Bruins fan.
Eddie is survived by a son Jason Silva and his wife Caitlin of Salem NH, a daughter Jamie Silva of Salisbury, three sisters Estella Arroyo of Manchester NH, Liz Silva of Methuen, Margaret Silva of Methuen, grandchildren Cidney, Mason, Brody, and Gavin, several nieces and nephews and loving cousins. Besides his parents Ana and Eduino he is also predeceased by a brother in law Peter Arroyo.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours for Eddie on Friday May 29th from 3-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A funeral service will take place immediately following calling hours on Friday May 29th at 7 PM. For those who wish, please feel free to wear Bruins attire to the calling hours and service to honor Eddie’s dedication to the team.
