John Brian Lindsay, of Canton, died peacefully Monday, May 25, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was a hard working loyal man who gave a hundred percent to all he was involved in. He was an avid sports fan, reader, and self-professed “news junkie” who brought laughter to all he met. He lived as he died, by his own terms and in his own time, fighting until the end. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend who will be missed but remembered fondly by all he encountered.
Beloved son of K. Louise Lindsay (Coughlin) and the late Bernard Lindsay of Canton. Loving brother of Scott Lindsay and his wife Lisa of Wilton, Maine, and Gregg Lindsay and his wife Natalie who was John’s “sister from another mother” of Topsfield. Proud uncle of Toby, Nora, Caroline and Kathryn Lindsay.
Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton Thursday May 28, 2015 from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St, Canton at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
